About Rose ‘Mundii’ – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Mundii’ is a historic rose cultivar known for its distinctive foliage and simple yet elegant flowers. The single blooms display a rich pink hue with prominent yellow stamens, creating a striking contrast. Flowering once in early summer, it offers a beautiful seasonal highlight. Its upright, shrub-like growth and decorative leaves make it an attractive choice for heritage gardens and landscape plantings.
How to Plant Rose ‘Mundii’?
Plant Rose ‘Mundii’ in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Place the graft union just below soil level and allow generous spacing, around 100 cm, for mature growth. Water thoroughly after planting and during prolonged dry periods. Mulching improves soil moisture retention and suppresses weeds. Light feeding in spring supports healthy foliage and strong flowering performance.
