About Rose ‘Octavia Hill’ (Harzeal) – Roots and Flowers
Rose ‘Octavia Hill’ (Harzeal) is a graceful English-style shrub rose with soft apricot-pink blooms that open into full, cupped flowers. The petals are gently ruffled, giving the blooms a romantic, old-fashioned appearance. A pleasant, medium fragrance enhances its appeal. With its bushy, well-branched growth and repeat flowering, it is well suited for borders, mixed beds, and cottage-style gardens.
How to Plant Rose ‘Octavia Hill’ (Harzeal)?
Plant Rose ‘Octavia Hill’ in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Place the graft union just below soil level and space plants 80–100 cm apart to allow for its rounded growth. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture. Regular feeding during the growing season encourages healthy foliage and abundant blooms.
